If you know my mother in-law please don't tell her about this. I started her birthday painting last night. I decided that I was going to do an old book page background with a bird theme. She likes nature. I laid it out last night and attached the book pages to the canvas. The center image did not transfer as well as I would have liked.....complete bone head move on my part.....sometimes I need to be more patient. But who wants it to look perfect anyway?? It will add character in the end. No worries. I'm still in research mode as to what painting techniques and colors I'm going to use. I'll keep the progress posted as I move forward.
