Happy Cotton Bowl Day! Here is a watercolor painting I did a few years back. It is a picture of Elmer Tarbox. He was a great Texas Tech running back from the 30's. I was lucky enough to have this piece displayed in the Texas Tech alumni luxury box at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock for two years back in 2003-2005. My brother and I were able to attend a game and sit in the box. Texas Tech beat Colorado that evening. Wes Welker broke the national all time punt returns for touchdowns record in that game.
